Short Terms

The UNIQLO Trip to Japan Prize Draw for In-Store-Purchases is open to residents of the UK aged 18 or over only, who have (i) downloaded the UNIQLO APP, (ii) created a UNIQLO account and (iii) scanned it at checkout when completing a transaction in the selected new opening UNIQLO stores (further detail below), (iv) then completed the entry form to participate (the “Operation”).

Grand Arcade, Cambridge, UK between 24th September 2026 and 18th October 2026;

Trafford Centre, Manchester, UK between 15th October 2026 and 08th November 2026.

This is a combined Operation for all stores mentioned above. From all eligible participants, one (1) winner will receive a Trip to Japan.

Full Terms & Conditions – Customer Participation

To participate in the Operation all participants are obliged to actively accept to be bound by these terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”), and all entry instructions that form part of these Terms and Conditions in the participation form provided. These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials.

Operator: Uniqlo Europe Ltd, 103-113 Regent Street, London, W1B 4HL, United Kingdom .
Participant: UNIQLO customers participating in this Operation who meet the following eligibility requirements.
Trip Provider: The trip prize is provided by NDL Group, acting as the appointed third-party travel provider.

 
  1. Eligibility: The Operation is open to the residents of the UK aged 18 or over, excluding employees of the Operator and their immediate families, its agents and anyone professionally connected with this Operation. 
 
  1. Entry Instructions: Participants will be entered into the prize draw by scanning their UNIQLO App Member ID at the checkout when purchasing in the following UNIQLO stores during the following period, and completing the steps below:
Grand Arcade, Cambridge, UK between 24th September 2026 and 18th October 2026;
Trafford Centre, Manchester, UK between 15th October 2026 and 08th November 2026. To enter the Operation, Participants must:

a. Download the UNIQLO App
b. Register and log in or log into an existing account
c. Scan their UNIQLO App Member ID during checkout in UNIQLO stores during the Participation Period
d. Complete the form by scanning the QR code on in-store assets (POPs, Tapestry, Easel)

Participation is limited to one (1) entry per person.

Excluded from participation are:
  • entries from agents or third parties,
  • syndicated entries,
  • those made using methods such as computer macro, script or the use of automated devices, and
  • duplicate or bulk entries.

Such excluded entries will be deleted, and the Participant will be disqualified without notice at the Operator’s sole discretion.

All entries must be made directly by the person participating in the Operation. Participants who do not give correct details or those who make an entry on someone else’s behalf will be disqualified, at the Operator’s sole discretion. For the avoidance of doubt, Participants have to provide their official first and last name.
  1. Participation Period: The Operation is available during the store’s business hours

Prize Terms & Conditions
  1. Prize information:
1x Trip to Japan:
  • One (1) winner will be selected from the 2 participating stores, to receive a trip to Japan, including return flights for two people from the UK to Tokyo, Japan (travel is subject to availability at the discretion of NDL Travel and excludes Cherry Blossom Season, bank holidays, Valentine’s day/weekend and school holiday periods, specifically the Christmas holidays, summer holidays, spring and autumn half terms and Easter in UK and Japan. The flight must be booked by the winner at least three (3) months in advance.
  • The Prize includes return economy flights from the UK to Tokyo, Japan, all flight taxes and surcharges, and one piece of checked baggage per person. A Saturday night stay is required. Subject to availability, the departure airport will be the winner’s nearest major international airport in the UK that operates flights to Tokyo. Please note that this may not be the winner’s closest airport, and a direct flight cannot be guaranteed. If the winner or their guest does not hold a passport that permits visa-free entry to Japan, they may need to obtain a visa or other travel authorisation for this destination. This should be arranged with the appropriate embassy or authority. The cost of any visa or travel authorisation is not included in the Prize.
  • Transfers will be private and not shared with other passengers.
  • The winner will be staying in a 4* hotel, sharing a double room with en-suite bathroom on a room only basis. If a twin room is preferred, the Operator may use reasonable efforts,  however, the availability cannot be guaranteed.
  • Travel insurance is subject to normal terms of acceptance. Pre-existing medical conditions may not be covered. No age restrictions apply. Should NDL Group be unable to purchase travel insurance on the winner’s behalf, a cash sum of £100.00/€100.00 will be provided to the winner via bank transfer.
  • All prizes must be accepted within 28 days, booked by the prize winner within 3 month once they have accepted their prize and travel completed within 12 months from the date of acceptance.
  • Prize redemption timing is dependent on international border crossing rules between the winner’s country of residence and Japan.
  • Once the booking is confirmed, the winner is subject to the travel conditions of the airline. The winner has to accept the airline’s terms and conditions. Neither the Operator nor the Trip Provider may be responsible for any unforeseen cancellations of flights or other arrangements.
 
  1. Winner selection:
1x Trip to Japan: One (1) winner will be randomly selected within ten (10) working days of this Operation’s closing date. The winner will be selected randomly by a computer process from all entries in both stores that produces a verifiably random result from those valid entries received during the operational period.
  1. Winner notification:
The winners will be notified via email by Trip Provider - NDL agency within ten (10) working days from selection.
If winners have not contacted the Trip Provider within 28 (twenty eight) days of notification to claim their prize, their right to the prize will be forfeited and an alternative winner will be chosen by the Operator.

Protection of Personal Data
  1. Data Controller:

  1. Purposes of Processing:
Personal data is collected and processed for the purposes of verifying the eligibility of participants, registering participation in the Promotion, administering the Promotion, selecting and contacting the winner, arranging and administering the Prize, preventing fraud, and handling any enquiries, complaints or disputes relating to the Promotion.
 
  1. Legal Basis:
Participation in the Promotion is voluntary. The processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of the contract constituted by these Terms and Conditions and for the administration of the participant's entry in the Promotion. Certain processing may also be necessary for UNIQLO's legitimate interests, including fraud prevention, ensuring the proper administration of the Promotion and defending legal claims.
 
  1. Data Collected:
The personal data collected may include, without limitation, first name, surname, email address, confirmation of age or eligibility, UNIQLO App Member ID, postal address (where required for Prize fulfilment), and any other information reasonably necessary to verify eligibility, administer the Promotion or provide the Prize. Personal data will not be used for marketing purposes unless the participant has separately consented where required by law.
 
  1. Recipients:
Personal data may be accessed by authorised personnel of UNIQLO and by third-party service providers engaged to administer the Promotion and/or provide the Prize, including any travel provider, fulfilment provider or technical service provider, strictly to the extent necessary for those purposes and subject to appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations.
 
  1. Retention Periods:
Personal data relating to non-winning participants will be deleted or anonymised no later than one (1) month after the completion of the Promotion unless retention is required by law or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Personal data relating to the winner may be retained for the period necessary to administer and fulfil the Prize and thereafter for any applicable legal limitation period. Information relating to complaints, investigations or disputes may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the relevant matter and protect UNIQLO's legal rights.
 
  1. Data Subject Rights:
Participants have the rights available under applicable data protection laws, including the right to request access to their personal data, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and data portability, where applicable.
 
  1. Participants also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK data protection supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
 
  1. If a participant exercises their right to erasure before the Promotion has concluded and such erasure prevents UNIQLO from administering the entry or verifying eligibility, the participant's entry may be withdrawn from the Promotion.
 
  1. Exercising Your Rights:
Participants may exercise their rights by writing to: UNIQLO Europe Ltd, 103-113 Regent Street, London, United Kingdom W1B 4HL or by email to dpo_eu@fastretailing.com, stating the nature of their request.

General
  1. The Operator and its agents reserve the right not to consider, and to exclude any entry they deem in their sole, subjective determination to be inappropriate and/or not in compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
     
  1. No responsibility will be taken by the Operator for entries or claims which, for technical or other reasons, are not entered correctly or are lost.  Incomplete entries will not qualify for the Operation.
     
  2. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be resold or exchanged for cash.
     
  3. Prizes cannot be returned or exchanged at UNIQLO stores.
     
  4. There are no cash or other prize alternatives available in whole or in part except in the event of circumstances outside its control. The Operator reserves the right to substitute a similar alternative of equal or greater value. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Operator the prize will only be awarded directly to the winner.
 
  1. The winner consents to the Operator publishing his/her name and country within three (3) months of the Operation closing date.
     
  2. The winner’s information will be used and shared for the purpose of providing the prizes only and announcing the winner as described in No. 17 of the Terms & Conditions.
     
  3. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Operator, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this Operation or the awarding of prizes, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Operator reserves the right to cancel or amend the operation or these Terms and Conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavor to minimize the effect to Participants in order to avoid undue disappointment. For the avoidance of doubt, the Operator will not be responsible for any unforeseen cancellations of flights or other arrangements.
     
  4. Participants in the Operation agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.  The Operator reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any Participant found to be abusing or tampering with the operation of the Operation, or to be acting in any manner deemed by the Operator to be in violation of the Terms and Conditions.
     
  5. The Operator reserves the right to verify all entries including but not limited to asking for address and identity details (which they must provide within 2 days) and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the Operation and disqualify the Participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions or any instructions forming part of this Operation’s entry requirements or otherwise where a Participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the Operation or won using fraudulent means. The Operator will be the final arbiter in any decisions, and these will be binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to this clause.
     
  6. Trade marks, logos and names of the products and retailers are the property of their respective owner.
     
  7. To the fullest extent permitted by law and excluding death or personal injury caused as a result of the Operator’s negligence, neither the Operator nor its agencies or third party suppliers accept any liability for claims, losses, demands, damages, corrupted or misdirected entries, any late or misdirected delivery of communications (by email or otherwise), faulty or failed electronic data transmissions or injuries that arise out of and/or in any way related to the prize, the receipt, use and/or enjoyment of the prize and/or the Operation.
 
  1. The Operator is not responsible for transportation of Participants to and from the participating store.
 
  1. The Operation and the Terms and Conditions will be governed by the law of the Participants’ country of residence and any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Operation will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Participants’ place of residence.
