UNIQLO Customer Roundtable Terms and Conditions
UNIQLO Europe Ltd. (the "Company") has established these terms and conditions (the "Terms") for the UNIQLO Roundtable Project (the "Project") as follows.
This Project consists of receiving email applications with completed electronic form (the “Form”), selecting from the applicants those who would participate in the Project (the “Participants”) to have a discussion on various topics in the area of clothing, such as the Participants’ impressions of wearing our products and the products they would buy, with a view to using them reference for the Company’s future product development.
The applicants must read and understand these Terms before submitting the Form. By applying for the Project, you are deemed to have agreed to the Terms.
[How to apply]
1. Applications will be accepted from 12 June (Thu.) 14:00 until 22 June (Sun.) 14:00.
2. Please fill out the Form, providing all required information, and submit during the application period.
3. Each applicant may only apply once. Multiple applications may disqualify all applications made.
[Application eligibility]
1. Application is open to customers aged [18] and over.
2. Selected Participants must be able to attend the Project venue at: [UNIQLO EUROPE LTD. 103-113 Regent Street, London, W1B 4HL UK]
3. Employees of the Company and affiliated companies (regardless of full-time, part-time, or temporary) as well as their immediate families are not eligible to apply for the Project.
[Announcement of Participants]
1. The Participants will be determined based on the criteria we are looking for, and only the selected Participants will be contacted.
2. The Participants will be notified using the email address entered in the Form at the time of application.
3. Participants’ rights and obligations under these Terms cannot be transferred to others.
4. Should the selected Participants not reply to the Company’s notification email by the date specified in such email, or if the Company determines that there was an error in the information entered at the time of application, their right to participate will be forfeited.
[Things to note when participating in the Roundtable]
1. Transportation expenses between the Roundtable venue and the Participants’ home will be borne by the Participants.
2. The Participants who attend at the Roundtable venue will receive a UNIQLO gift card (worth [£80]) as a thank you for participating in the Project.
3. On the day of the Roundtable, The company will audio-tape/record the dialogue for record-keeping and analysis purposes. Participants should be aware of this as well as the fact that they may be asked to sign a consent form. Anything the Participants say will remain confidential and non-attributable. Furthermore, the Company will not disclose the Participants’ information outside the Company unless otherwise required to do so by law.
4. All contents shared at the Roundtable will be confidential. Participants are strictly prohibited from disclosing any information obtained at the Roundtable to any third party (including their family and friends), using for their own purposes, or posting on the internet (e.g. social media, blogs, etc.).
[Handling of personal information]
1. 2. An applicant’s personal information may be used for purposes such as notifying the application of the Company’s invitation to participate, advertising of our products, and reference for planning for Company’s future products.
3. By applying for the Project, you are deemed to have read and understood the privacy policy.
[Disclaimer]
1. The Company will not be responsible for any trouble or loss suffered by applicants due to the use, interruption, delay, suspension, or termination of the Project, unless there was intentional or gross negligence on the part of the Company.
2. Even if the Company is liable for damages, such damages shall be limited to the direct loss suffered by the applicants, and the Company shall not be responsible for any kind of indirect or any other consequential loss (including loss of profits).

[General]
1. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Company, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this Project, the Company reserves the right to cancel or amend the Project or these Terms, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to applicants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
2. The Company reserves the right at its sole discretion not to consider, and to exclude or disqualify any entry that they deem to be abusing or tampering with the operation of the Project, or to be acting in any manner deemed by the Company to be in violation of or inappropriate with these Terms. The Company will be the final arbiter in any decision and these will be binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to this clause.
3. The Company assumes no responsibility for: (i) any error, omission, interruption, or delay in the operation or transmission of any communication sent to (or by) the Company or any applicant whether caused by problems with communication networks or lines, computer systems, software or internet service providers, congestion on any carrier network or otherwise, (ii) any theft, destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of such communications; (iii) any problem with, or technical malfunction of, any computer system or other equipment used for the conduct of the Project; (iv) any incorrect or incomplete information which may be communicated in the course of the administering this Project (whether as a result of one of the foregoing causes or otherwise); (v) any delay in delivery, or failure of safe delivery of the notification.
4. To the full extent permitted by law and excluding death or personal injury caused as a result of the Company’s negligence, the Company, its associated companies and agencies and any of their personnel (the “Relevant Parties”) exclude all liability for any loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense) which is suffered or incurred by any applicant in connection with the Project, including without limitation: (i) any indirect, economic or consequential loss; (ii) any loss arising from the negligence of a Relevant Parties; (iii) any liability for personal injury or death.
5. The Project and these Terms will be governed by English law and any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Project will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
